WHY JNFC?
The Jacksonville Navy Flying Club is a non-profit organization run through MWR aboard Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL.

Because we are a non-profit organization receiving assistance and support from the base and MWR, we are able to keep costs incredibly low in comparison to off-base alternatives. Members of JNFC enjoy access to all of our aircraft, instructors, and our simulator at low costs that cannot be attained off-base.

JNFC is a flying club. This is a club for mechanics, aviators, flight officers, passengers, students, instructors, and anyone who loves aviation. We love aviation, and we love sharing it with others. Come join us.

ELIGIBILITY: The Jacksonville Navy Flying Club is only open to military personnel (active, reserve, or retired), federal employees with MWR access, and Civil Air Patrol members. Valid IDs will be required and checked to meet membership requirements. TSA requirements to begin flight training in the USA include showing an original passport or birth certificate to prove citizenship, or TSA flight training approval for non-citizens.

DISCOVERY FLIGHTS are available (for eligible personnel only, see above.) These are perfect for anyone who has never flown before, or for student pilots and licensed pilots who may be interested in joining the club. Typical cost is about $150 for a 1 hour flight with an instructor (depending on actual duration of the flight and your choice of airplane).

LICENSED PILOTS, STUDENT PILOTS, and anyone who wants to become a student pilot…
Contact us to come take a discovery flight with an instructor. If you’re interested in learning more, a flight instructor will walk you through the steps of joining the club.

Dues are currently $240 every 6 months (SUBJECT TO CHANGE), paid upon joining and every April and October. Dues are prorated for new members. Dues are typically paid after your first flight with a club instructor.
